"The Sledgepad exceeded our expectations. The punch was focused and very on point. The mic tray for the 91 is awesome. It really allowed the mic to do its job. We always use rental kits. The pad rolled up nicely and was easily fed through the mic port. Everyone loved it! Roger said it has a nice feel and that it took away any unwanted tones perfectly. Thanks for having us. You without a doubt have a winner on your hands! Cheers from team Foghat..."
Only a select few drummers can boast major TV show appearances, endorsements with well-known percussion manufacturers, and the admiration of more experienced peers. Even fewer can lay claim to this by the age of 4.
Now in High school, Cole Marcus is impressing worldwide audiences and the entertainment industry with his amazing talent. His precocious drumming skills, songwriting, and vocal abilities have garnered appearances on countless TV and radio shows, not to mention feature articles in DrumPro, DRUM!, and Modern Drummer magazines.
Cole's passion for the arts has developed him into a seasoned actor, where he has worked in feature films and several national TV commercials.
At just three years-of-age, he was called up to the drum kit by the legendary Dave Weckl at one of his drum clinics. Cole proceeded to wow the audience and Weckl alike.
By the age of four, Cole was offered endorsements with Mapex drums, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth Drumsticks, and had signed with BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.). This made him the youngest person to ever land an artist endorsement and the youngest songwriter in history to sign with BMI.
Since then, Cole has signed with Yamaha DTX Drums, D'Addario/Evans, and a myriad of other endorsements. A highlight of Cole's year is his annual appearance at the NAMM show, where many of these companies invite him to perform and sign autographs alongside the best drum artists in the industry.
Cole has also gone on to put his musical talents to work. He is currently writing music for his upcoming album and continues to headline concerts across internationally.
Clearly, the pride of Cole's accomplishments at a young age is his humilty and compassion. He recently returned from a tour in Japan benefiting handicapped children. Cole also donates his time annually to the Jonathan Jaques Celebrity Torch, where celebrities come together to celebrate the lives of children who have cancer or rare blood diseases , as well as other charities.
Cole has hit a 10-Year Milestone in his young career, which marks an unprecedented accomplishment to have a 10-year long, international career under his belt at the age of only 14.
Cole is inspired by every style of music and is continually progressing in his own unique style and abilities. His interpretation and phrasing are unparalleled and, like his drumming, are an inspiration to see and hear. His songwriting, arranging, and creativity defy his age.

Boom, boom, crack. Kick, kick, snare. We've all heard it a million times. That back beat that makes you toes tap and your head bounce. Miles Stone heard it, then he learned it, now he lives it. Hailing the small south Texas town of Poth, Miles was destined to drum. His mama felt him moving to the music before he was even born. At three years old he sat behind his first drum kit, and by age 5 he was banging out Red Hot Chili Peppers songs. In junior high he joined the school band and began to study percussion formally. From marching band to garage bands it was clear that drumming and taken a strong hold on Miles. After high school, he headed for College Station and Texas A&M University, and he certainly didn't leave his drums behind. While earning a BA in Horticulture Miles spent time playing with the Chad Hammock Band as well Bri Bagwell before landing his current gig with Cody Johnson and the Rockin' CJB. When he isn't out on the road with the Cody, Miles enjoys drumming in studios in and around his current home of Austin, TX. With enough courage, talent, and hard work you might just get lucky enough to make your passion your livelihood. Miles is no stranger to any of those things, and there's no doubt he'll prove it somewhere this weekend laying down grooves that have had a grip on him for as long as he can remember. Miles proudly endorses: Sledgepad, 7Ddums, Kelly Shu Miles proudly uses and recommends: Meinl Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, Pro-Mark Drumsticks, Cympad Cymbal Washers
"Sledgepad provides my kick drum with something that other traditional dampening methods and systems can't: TONE! It won't choke out your kick. It dampens just the right amount, allowing it to breathe like a kick drum should! Trust me, GET A SLEDGEPAD!"
Demetrius Reid a professional drummer from Atlanta Georgia born and raised. He has been playing drums since the age of Three. Started playing professionally on the road at Fourteen. Down For Days/Ozz (A Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne) Bio: I have been playing drums for as long as I can remember as I was fortunate to be able to grow up with a musician for a parent. My dad thankfully allowed me to gravitate to my own instrument of choice at an early age and I’ve been hooked on the skins ever since. He gave me all of the resources and opportunities I needed to plant the seed. In fact, my first show was playing with him and his band up in Anderson, Indiana where we grew up as I was somewhere in middle school age. My only ’20 second timeout’ where the drums were not a part of my DNA was during my stint in the military right out of high school. Thanks again Dad! I have played in many cover bands over the years but the bands that I am currently playing in is an originals rock band called Down For Days which has just released our first EP called ’Time Has Come' and an amazing tribute band called Ozz (A Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne). The originals band is great as I get to play all of the music that I have written as well as getting opportunities to meet, network and open for bands such as Dangerous Toys, Dead Horse Trauma, Smile Empty Soul, Romantic Rebel, Broken Teeth, Crazy Town and others in our short year together and with more on the horizon. Not to mention the wealth of local talent you get to share the stage with here in the greater Houston and San Antonio areas. Now for the tribute band I am surely biased, but to me, Ozz is nothing short of spectacular! Everyone in the band is a top-notch musician and I feel like we posses the best Ozzy frontman/impersonator there is. I have enjoyed every show I’ve ever done in my 8 plus years with that band. The crowds are incredible, the venues are amazing, we are able to do some traveling and it’s a great outlet for me to emulate some of my favorite drummers like Bill Ward, Lee Kerslake, Tommy Aldridge and Randy Castillo. It’s a total blast.

Marvin Dixon Testimonial: "I discovered SledgePad right before Winter NAMM in Anaheim, CA Janurary 2017. Mike Vermillion the inventor of SledgePad invited me to play at their booth for demonstration. What a great honor and experience that was. I love the SledgePad and what it does for the sound of my Bass Drum. I'm a proud endorser for this product and feel that every drummer needs it."

Here is what Jeremy has to say about SledgePad "I truly believe that it is the best product on the market for bass drum dampening. The front of house guy raved about how he didn't have to EQ the kick at all and asked how he could achieve the same thing with their house kit, a DW Collectors Series." and he goes on to say "This story isn't they only one, I've been asked about It many times since installing your product. The sound engineer at Club La Levla in Panama City Beach, a 40+ veteran of running sound, told me that my kick drum was an absolute pleasure to mic because of the lack of EQ needed." Jeremy closes with "No matter where I go my little 20x17 kick brings the thunder, and I have your product to thank. I'll be placing another order in the coming months to outfit my other two kits with them.
Tyler is from Weatherford, OK and he plays with Kaitlin Butts and the band No Justice. Tyler has this to say about SledgePad
"I played on a back-line kit a couple weeks ago that had one and I was shocked. Now I don't have to mess with the stupid towel/pillow combo! When I got my Sledgepads, they were very easy to install and they sounded great immediately. When we played my kit through the big system it was amazing!
Jaron is constantly evolving as an artist and over the years has played with a multitude of musicians, covering many differing styles and genres of music. This eclecticism has allowed him to grow and develop his craft in a way that not many can match. In his 15-plus years as a working musician, Jaron has played over 1100 performances and shared the stage with bands that have opened for internationally known acts such as Cake, Everclear, CCR, Arlo Guthrie, David Crosby, Taj Mahal, Little Feat, Live, The Samples and many more. In addition to his live stage performances, Jaron has also completed dozens of studio recordings as both a drummer and percussionist.
Jaron began honing his skills at the age of 8, when he first discovered his passion for percussion, and has been active in live music since he was 14. After spending ten years as one of the hottest drummers in the Arizona music scene, in 2011 he made the decision to move to New York City in order to be further immersed in musical diversity and opportunity. During that time, he began touring with a Washington, D.C.-based band and he got his first taste of Nashville while on tour.He immediately began networking, and before long he was being sought out by Nashville-based musicians, and spent more and more time in Music City. It was a natural progression to make a permanent move in 2013. Since making the decision to call Nashville home, Jaron has worked with an impressive 50-plus musicians, both live and in the recording studio. Currently on pace to top his average of more than 100 shows every year, he is showing no signs of slowing down.
Always approachable, Jaron is infectiously enthusiastic and plays with a passion and authenticity that consistently accomplishes his goal as a musician: To Serve the Music.
We are very happy to add Jaron Mossman to the #Sledgepadartist page. Jaron hails from the great state of Arizona and is now based in Nashville, Tn. Jaron is the drummer for Two Way Crossing. Watch for #TwoWayCrossing on tour Summer 2016. "The first night I installed SledgePad I noticed a difference in the punch and presence of my kick sound. I was looking for something that would stay in place so I contacted Mike at SledgePad and he shipped one right out to me. I'm very happy so far. I love that it stays put from show to show. I haven't made a single adjustment to it since I first installed it. This is really important to me as I have quite an elaborate setup with Two Way Crossing. Very glad I don't have to deal with fine tuning my kick muffling from show to show.
SledgePad..I get consistant sound...Every night".
I had to reposition my Kelly Shu system wide enough for the pad. I installed SledgePad in the kick drum and got the logo head on, centered and tuned up and gave it a couple hits with and without the resonant head.
" All I got to say is WOW! Does this thing make my kick sound super thumpy. I thought the Emad Heavy did the trick and boy was I mistaken. Don't get me wrong the head sounds great as is. But with the SledgePad in conjunction with Emad it really brought out more lows. Better than a pillow or blanket.
I highly suggest drummers to purchase it.
Tomorrow I'll be playing an out door gig and I'll get my sound mans take on how my kick sounds. But for me it's so perfect".
Jessie Holtzclaw Shot Down South Atlanta, Ga.
I have been searching for something for my Pearl EXL bass drum. Nothing really worked. EVEN THE WEIGHTED PILLOWS. Everything moved around inside the bass drum and drove me crazy. I heard about SledgePad."I decided to purchase the Small Vented and it really did make a difference in the punch and tone and also the playability of the bass drum. This pad gave my bass a drum a nice deep voice that my bass drum didn't have before and it stays in place and when we did a live show it was amazing thhrough the house system. Yea....SledgePad. I love it
"I installed the Sledgepad Vented in my live kit last week (Pearl MCX Masters Custom Maple - Bass Drum 20X18 with Evans Emad Bater Side). Absolutely amazing. The kick was always gated/compressed live but with the Sledgepad I can now run it wide open with loads of bottom end and no overtones. The Sledgepad increases the sound of the drum immensely. On a side note, it is way nicer to look down at the attractive design of the Sledgepad rather than a dusty old pillow. Also, it stays in place during transport. Absolutely amazing, innovative product".

Wow! All I can say is Wow! SLEDGEPAD is an amazing product that works so well for me. Since day one of playing drums, over 25 years ago, I have been using pillows in my bass drums. I came across SLEDGEPAD and expressed my curiosity. So Mike sent me his product. Straight out of the box, there was no cutting, taping, nothing. They fit right into place and instantly my tone and just the right amount of muffling was there! With SLEDGEPAD, my bass drums breathe more freely and I have a much more rounded tone than I ever got with a pillow or other dampening products. Plus, they look awesome!! SledgePad IS the new standard in Resonance Tone Control for the acoustic bass drum."Ronnie Lee is an Independent Drummer and has been playing drums for over 30 years and has toured the US and UK as a solo artist and with other bands.
Mike started playing drums at age 10. Mike also served his country as a United States Marine. Mike has worked his way into the music scene around Branson Missouri and is currently doing all of the touring and session work for Power House Vocal Duo Makenna & Brock. Makenna & Brock's hot single Burnin' The Night Down is currently playing on radio across the U.S. and in Europe
SledgePad Review
"I have been using an old blanket in my bass drums for years. It worked fine for the most part when my kit was stationary. However, any time I had to move the kit I would have to re-position the blanket inside the drum. This is where SledgePad really shines. Once installed properly, it will not move. This allows me to get the same consistent tone every show, no matter the venue. I take great pride in not only the sound, but the look of my gear; and the Sledge Pad looks great! Thanks to Sledge Pad my kit looks and sounds great night after night". -Mike "Mule" Muhlenbruch
Gabriel is from Port Lavaca. Texas and plays with Cameran Nelson. This is a very talented group of musicians that play a high energy style of music. SledgePad is honored to have talent like Gabriel in the family. We believe he is a rare talent. If you don't believe me..Go see him Live.
Bling Johnson's take on a Cameran Nelson live show:
Cameran Nelson's live show is an in your face Texas Country Rock concert that grabs your attention and then reminds you why you love country music. With well written lyrics, traditional country touches and an extremely talented group of musicians, this is a live show you don't want to miss.

" I am totally loving my sledgpad! My kick has better tone and attack than ever".
Thanks again Simon.
"I love it so far. I just bought a new maple SJC drum kit, and installed it in the bass drum. That same night I played a show, and the sound guy loved it. My kick drum sounded like it was eq'd perfectly. So, yes. I am extremely happy with it and hope to share it with all the drummers I know. Thanks so Much. Dean Burlon Jr."
"SledgePad really works well for me. I like the fact that it's not a one size fits all product. It's custom made for the depth of the drum. I think that's what make's SledgePad different and why it works so well. It is also hand made by an experienced drummer that used his ears to fine tune these designs. I hear the difference. I have all three designs and they have all worked well depending on the situation. I also get compliments from sound engineers and they tell me it's easier to EQ my kick because of SledgePad. I like the fact that my kick sound is consistant".

Scott's SledgePad testimonial
“The SledgePad gives me and my bass drums all the low-end punch without a pillow or blanket moving around. I love the design of both the batter and resonant heads keeping it in place, and that my internal micing systems are unaffected. Every bass drum needs a SledgePad!”- Scott Zucknick
" I just had a chance tonight to install the 18" small sledgepad into my 18x22 Pearl Reference Pure bass drum and the best way to describe the sound is, you know that feeling when you are at a rock concert and the bass drum from the sound system hits you right it the chest?
Well that's what this drum does. Not only does is sound incredible, it gives you that "thump" in the chest without bring mic'd up. WOW!!!!I I have been playing for approximately 40 years and never have I had a bass drum sound like this. I will be ordering another one for another 18x22 bass drum I have. I am going to tell all my drumming friends about you and your products. I know you are a small company but if you have endorsers, add me to the list please!! "
Thank again, Carl
Andrew is a freelance professional Rock drummer from Ottawa Ontario Canada.
" I started using SledgePad over a year ago and I now use them in all on my kick drums. I really think it's should be standard equipment for all drummers mainly for the consistency. You will never again have to re-adjust your bass drum dampening again. It also doesn't over dampen my bass drum sound, it actually opens up the drum even more volume wise but still controls the ring and overtones without over dampening. I also gives me great feel from the beater of my pedals. I love it".

"Greg on SledgePad. I use the small vented 16" in my Yamaha recording custom kit and I like the consistency of my kick sound. I like the fact that SledgePad can custom fit any bass drum at the correct depth and amount of dampening desired. It's great".
Tyler Henderson is from the Great state of Texas and is the drummer for Country Music Superstar Tracy Byrd. Tyler is also a drummer at Christian Fellowship Worship center.
"Tyler on SledgePad. I love this product. It provides me consistant sound night after night and the correct amount of dampening so the sound and feel of my bass drum is perfect every night. I don't see myself ever NOT using this product. It's fantastic".
Since using SledgePad Vented Large 18" I noticed how much more open my bass drum felt but still didn't have the ring and over tones I thought I would get without a pillow. The pad never moves from gig to gig and that means consistent sound every night and I love that. I also get a great feel from the beaters. I also put a SledgePad Vented Mini 14" in an older Ludwig 22x14 kick I have and it was perfect. I also use the floor tom strips in all of my floor toms and it's just the right amount of dampening every night.
Travis is the drummer for 4 Play Texas and plays Yamaha drums.
"Travis on SledgePad. After I installed SledgePad I noticed an incredible difference in the presence and feel of my bass drum. It is really night and day what this product does for my kick sound. I would recommend it to all drummers".

"I'm always on the lookout for various drum accessories and new sounds. I've been following the SledgePad on social media for a while and I was always intrigued by the way it was designed. I stopped by the SledgePad booth at Winter NAMM 2017 and heard it acoustically in person. I was impressed by the tone of the kick drum. I played a show the following Tuesday (after NAMM) and had a 14" small vented SledgePad inside my kick (with a solid front head) and the FOH engineer loved the punch and tone of the kick. The best feature of the SledgePad is not having to shift the drum around anymore to get the blanket or pillow in position. With the SledgePad, kick drums sound great acoustically and they sound fantastic with microphones. It's a win-win for drummers and engineers everywhere!"

Growing up I was always into all kinds of music and always wanted to be a
drummer. But I was also into sports and that’s what took up most of my time
growing up until I graduated high school. After high school I started to
get serious about playing drums. I was in many cover/original bands just
getting my chops together and paying my dues in the club circuit. In 1985 I
joined an already established band called TEEZE. Basically an 80’s hair
band. In 1986 we were signed to Champion Entertainment and then got signed
to CBS/Columbia Records. When we were recording the album, they made us
change our name to Roughhouse (there was another Tease on CBS/Epic). We
released an album, cassette and cd and we had a video on MTV of our first
single called “Tonight” which reached the top 15 on Headbangers Ball for 3
weeks. We also did a tour of the mid West and East coast. By 1990 the music
had changed and the band broke up. We did a few very successful reunion
shows in 2002-2004. Now in 2017, the original band has reunited again after
24 years and are heading out full steam ahead booking shows.
Also in 1995, I got asked to audition for the Grammy Award winning group
called the Trammps, who’s main claim to fame is a song called “Disco
Inferno” (burn baby burn) from the Saturday Night Fever movie soundtrack
along with many other chart topping hits. Needless to say, I passed the
audition and I’ve been playing drums and quarterbacking the group for 22
years and loving every minute of it. This journey has been like a dream
come true.
In 1982 I was in a cover/original band called MANTIS. We recently got back
together also and are playing shows opening up for some pretty big groups.
And we're just getting ready to release a cd of all our old recorded
material.
I also have my own project (just 80's rock) called Nat Attack. We only play
a couple times a year, our choice.
And last but not least, I just became a member of the 7drums fami7y and
can't wait to get my 7drums kit.
I'm looking forward to becoming part of the SledgePad family too. No one
can have to many family members!

"SledgePad is a must-have for EVERY drummer. Forget about pillows in your
kick drum. SledgePad provides all the dampening you need while allowing
your kick drum's natural tone and warmth to be heard, not to mention it
doesn't get in the way, and it stays in place during transport and setup."
Johnny has been playing drums for over 30 years and has shared the stage
with many talented artists! To name a few, Neal McCoy, Shenandoah, Exile,

The Rodd Grimes Band. Between the two bands I have toured all over the US
and played venues from honky tonks to arenas. I'm proud to join the
Sledgepad family and look forward to sharing my new kick drum tone with

It's a tool that helps control overtones just enough, while boosting beater attack. It’s simple to install, reusable, stays in place while playing and swapping bass drums for different sessions in the studio.
No more blankets or packing peanuts; definitely only Sledgepad for me!”
